Police is in talks with the Demoratic Republic of Congo to ensure that self exiled Bubulo West Member of parliament Tony Nsubuga Kipoi is deported.
The deputy inspector general of police Okoth Ochola told the committee of rules and discipline which is investigating the mp’s conduct that police is working with security forces in DRC to see that Bubulo West Mp Tony Nsubuga Kipoi is deported back in the country for trial.
Okoth says the member of parliament Kipoi is wanted to answer over five cases against him ranging from Kidnap, Treason, human trafficking, theft, and obtaining money by false pretence.
Ochola says because Kipoi jumped bail, they are processing a warrant of arrest to repatriate him. Track
This contradicts the earlier statements by his lawyer Fred Mukasa Mbidde that his client was being admitted in kishasha hospital.
