Mnister of defence pins MP kipoi

The rules committee of parliament has concluded its investigations in the conduct of Buburo west mp Tony Nsubuga Kipoi.

The minister of defense Crispus Kiyonga was the last to appear before the committee to give evidence on Kipoi.

The minister told the committee that kipoi has a number of cases to answer in Uganda’s courts including allegations that he was trying to recruit people into rebel activities.

Kiyoga says that the ministry of foreign affairs was in touch with the Government of DRC to repatriate mp Kipoi to face his charges in Uganda.
The committee will now sit and make a report that will be presented before the house when it returns in February next year.

His lawyer Mukasa Mbidde had requested the committee to met his client in Kishasha hospital were is being admitted, the lawyer denied that he was in prison.
