In a bid to create peace and harmony in the long troubled Somali land, Uganda’s police boss, Gen. Kale Kayihura together with his counterpart from Somalia, Brig. Adbihakim Dahir have signed an agreement that will see Uganda’s police forces provide training to Somalia’s police forces.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Gen. Kare stated that this is a very important thing to do since it will see Somalia have a professional police force to maintain law and order in their nation as a way to crack on crime mentioning terrorism.

However, Brig. Dahir from Somalia was greatful for Uganda’s support to his country saying it has greatly contributed to peace in their nation.
