Some MPS of the have hit back at presundet Museveni’s letter which was asking parliament to shelve the Bill Like Marriage and Divorce Bill halt Homosexuality Bill until further in-depth scrutiny of the Bill but not to hurry.
The MPs says President Museveni is just looking for cheap popularity from the donors; yet Uganda has capacity to sustain its self.
President Museveni in his letter dated 28th, December 2013 wrote to the speaker of Parliament told the Speaker that Bill was passed with quorum.
President Museveni asked the Speaker why they passed w law without quorum; he wandered what sort of parliament is this? He even wandered how Parliament can be the one to break the constitution and Law repeatedly.
Bunya East MP in Mayuge District James Waira Majegere Kiwalabye says if president Museveno doesenot want to append his signature he should bring back to and watch if MPs will not passed it again.
