The University of Otago Coursework Masters Awards are available to international candidates completing Master’s degrees which do not include a significant research component.

They provide $10,000 payable towards fees in the first instance.

The offer of a Scholarship or Award does not guarantee entry to your proposed qualification. You should apply separately for admission to your course.

Successful applicants must enrol by 1 September to receive their scholarship.

If successful, please be aware that it is necessary to enrol at the beginning of each year for the course of study for which you have received the Scholarship/Award.

Tenure of the Scholarship or Award does not mean that annual enrollment procedures can be ignored.

Applications for Coursework Masters’ Scholarships are due by 1 November.
