A nosence High Court Judge Lydia Mugambe has ruled out Uganda Attorney General’s application, his side to be given up to 31/04/2014 so that they fully equip themselves with relevant documents in defence of the electoral commission in Kampala Lord Mayor’s application to stay purported Lord Mayoral elections.

In her wise ruling, justice Mugambe said, there is no time, she has to do away with this application, there is no way she can give government side more days yet the electoral commission is busy organizing elections in question.

Her ruling was in favour of Lukwago’s lawyers led by Abdul Katuntu and it left smiles all over the faces of opposition supporters. Lukwago’s lawyers fight to halt the forthcoming mayoral elections set to replace Lukwago as Lord Mayor of Kampala.
