Museveni picks new judges from Rwakitura

 

Tempers are high among indigenous tribes in Uganda after rumours spread in town that president Museveni on Tuesday named news judges who all reportedly had links in Kiruhura, president Museveni’s district.

The new judges were sworn in at State House Entebbe, at a ceremony that was presided over by President Yoweri Museveni. The judges include Asaf Ruhinda Ntegye, Linda Lillian Mugisha, Margaret Mutonyi, and Jesca Ayebazibwe.

Museveni has posted all of them to the High Court and Industrial court respectively. But the president challenged the judges to make the public content with judicial service delivery. Ends
