Some MPs have told president Museveni to stop involving himself into local politics because his on a National Level and does not know serious issues that affect the voters in the constituencies compared to MPs who are closer to their them.

Bunyaruguru County MP Cadet Benjamin who is on independent ticket in parliament advises the president Museveni to work in liaison with any NRM Candidate to study the Area or in the constituency before campaigning for any by-election candidate so that he is well informed and know what to tell the voters.

Mbarara Municipality MP Medard Bitekyerezo says NRM lost in the Luwero by-election not because president Museveni campaigned for loser, it’s just the cliques and divisions in the party that made the NRM lose
