Kampala lord mayor, Salongo Elias Lukwago has denounced his deputy, Sulaiman Kidandala as his deputy following his decision to attend the three days meeting in Entebbe which reports say is intended to swear him as deputy and substantive lord mayor to replace Lukwago.

Addressing the media, Lukwago who almost shade tears distance reports that he never signed minutes where the authority approved Kidandala as deputy lord mayor and says, it’s the group that kidandala is running around with now that failed the whole process.

Lukwago now mentions that when the whole court process is done he will have to choose from other councilors to appoint as his deputy.

He re-assures president M7 that he will never succumb to his pressure but will continue fighting for the cause of the people of Kampala.

However, the former FDC president, Dr. Kizza Besigye says the current illegal acts by the state in Kampala are a manifestation of a true mafia govt that is hunting for treasures from the city which the top most leadership had failed to capture for so long.Cue.Besigye.Eng&Lug.

Lukwago appointed Kidandala as his deputy on 29th October 2011 and was approved in June 2012 by the council under resistance from the state and technical wing of KCCA.
