Police again prevented 4GC activists led by former FDC president, Dr. Kizza Besigye and national coordinator, Hon. Mathius Mpuuga from delivering a petition demanding for the release of Besigye’s political aid, Sam Mugumya who is said to be detained in DRC.

The activists confronted by the Kampala police operations officer, James Ruhweza asked them for the notice of acceptance from the ministry to deliver their petition challenging them not to protest.

Besigye accuses police for playing politics and double standards who asked them to deliver the petition to the foreign affairs ministry to deliver it to DRC govt and now the same police is preventing them from accessing them ministry.
