Youth attack government over NAADS give away to the UPDF officers

Youth under their pressure group Youth AgainstDictatorship have criticized government for giving NAADS to the UPDF officers who had already having jobs as public servants.

Addressing a news conference in Kalerwe the group chairperson James Mwima said that the group chairperson James Mwima said that sacking NAADS coordinators and replaced them with the UPDF officers caused unemployment in youth who had got jobs in this Agricultural service.

Mwima said that NAADS should have been given to the youth who are unemployed but have qualifications required.

The group told journalists that youth have resorted to look for votes and vote out leaders who have failed to create employment ,adding that they want leaders who will care for youth and access jobs.

The youth also asked parliament to speed up the enactment of the Anti-corruption Amendment bill into the law to enable the government confiscate assets of the government officials who could have stolen public funds , saying keeping them in jails is not enough punishment for such people.
