The Member of Parliament for Kapelebyong Peter Emmanuel Eriaku has dispelled media reports that he withdrew construction material that he had donated to Angaro Community Primary School in Obalanga sub county  with the hope of being  the NRM party flag bearer in the 2016 polls. Eriaku dismissed the claims after criticism from all over the places against his action of discontinuing the construction of the school over losing the party ticket.

Eriaku who lost in the NRM primaries told journalists in Kampala that he only helped workers on the site to relocate because the company which was supposed to construct this school had no money and this MP had no funds to continue with this project. He said that he failed to continue with the project due to a debt of 100 million shillings which is still on him to be cleared. Eriaku added that he will be soliciting support for the new NRM flag bearer Johnson Malinga so as he wins and carries on the uncompleted projects.

Eriaku prays that Kapelebyongo county is elevated to the district status so as he can contest as the L.C5 chairperson.
He however promised to fight the opposition group in Kapelebyong which are spreading malicious and false claims against him.
