The marginalized groups in the country mentioning women, girls, PWDs, elderly and the young are seriously called upon to pause very serious questions to all political candidates who come asking for votes if the issues affecting them are to be heard and addressed. With the country now in the political season and all candidates promising heaven on earth to voters, activists and experts on gender are concerned about the failure by all candidates to critically address themselves on certain gender and equality issues which leaves many groups marginalized by those to assume power in the next five years.

Now for their issues to be heard and taken serious, the official from the equal opportunities commission, Evans Jemba wants all these special gender groups to take on candidates on issues affecting them if they are to be addressed.
