Addressing a news conference on Monday, the President of the Club, Bukamba Nelson stated that it was sad to see that police officers who are meant to enforce law were instead breaking the law as they badly handled the piglets which left some dead and others injured an act that was viewed as abuse of animal rights.

The students continue to ask activists to desist from using animals to pass over their message as they are not meant to be in public.

They are asking police to surrender the piglets to them for keeps as they are worried that police is incompetent to keep these animals basing on the way it handles them at time of arrest.
