Singer Tugume Wyclife a.k.a Ykee Benda was tipped to perform alongside American star, Jason Derulo in Russia at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup slated for 14th June.

However, the bold headed singer will not perform at the ceremony as it had earlier been communicated when news of him featuring on the world cup song emerged.

Our snoops are yet to unearth the reason as to why Ykee Benda will not be able to perform despite the fact that he is still travelling to Russia.

While speaking to Magic100 FM during The Buzz segment, Ykee Benda revealed that he will not perform at the ceremony though he refused to disclose the reason for missing out on this opportunity.

We tried to contact Ykee Benda but his known contacts were unreachable by press time.
