Police on Monday arrested a second suspect in relation to the hit list that was distributed around Kampala last week.
According to the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Mr Luke Owoyesigyire, the suspect was found in Kabowa, Rubaga Division in Kampala following an intelligence tip from the public.
The list contained names of prominent people especially politicians like Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, Buganda Kingdom Kattikiro Charles Peter Mayiga, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, Ntungamo Municipality MP Gerald Karuhanga, Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante and Deputy police spokesperson Patrick Onyango.
Mr Owoyesigyire said the suspect has been subjected to the interrogation process by detectives from Kampala Metropolitan to find out why he distributed the hit list.
