Tenants at energy center in Kampala have shut down their shops and demonstrated their dissatisfaction to the arcade owner Drake Lubega whom they accused of rapidly increasing rent fee by 20% which they say is too much for them.

The angry traders who spoke out without mercy to the arcade owner protested the 20% rent increasing saying he has been increasing rent fees without meeting some of the tenant’s demands mention generator system, proper water system among other necessities.

Speaking to the traders after failing to get Lubega to them, the trader’s chairman, Kalungi Fahad urged the traders not to accept the increase until all their previous demands are met by Lubega though later Lubega appeared and told them to only pay 10% increase of rent which the tenants also protested.
