3 Uganda traditional witchdoctors arrested in Zambia

 

At least three Ugandan traditional witchdoctors have been arrested in Lusaka Zambia for swindling a 56 year old retired soldier out of k198,500.

The three Ugandan withchdoctors have been identified as Robert Muwaya, Sentongo Farouk and Simon Peter Ntenge while the fourth suspect only identified as Robert is still on the run.

The victim initially approached the traditional doctors seeking for herbal medicine for diabetes. Upon reading the victim’s palms the suspects told him that he had a lot of money which needed cleansing so that it could multiply.

The victim then went to withdraw the money from his bank account and gave it to the suspects who advised him to return after an hour to collect his multiplied money. Upon returning, he found that the house was disserted. The transaction took place on 17th July 2014 at a house behind Kabwata market.

“A manhunt has been launched for the fourth witchdoctor and we would like to warn members of the public to desist from involving themselves in such deals as these witchdoctors are out there to steal from desperate people,” the Zambian Police said in its updates.
