USAFI market vendors want KCCA to take over their market.

vendors have pleaded parliament to prevail over Kampala capital city Authority to take over their market from the current owners .USAFI market
Amid protest against the owner of the market Umar sekamatte the vendors met mps on the presidential committee led by Col. Fred Mwesigye and said that the rental fees in the market are too high compared to that of St.Balikudembe.

Mps while touring the market told vendors that they will consider the vendors proposal for KCCA to take over the market.

The Member of Parliament for masaka municipality Mathius Mpuga said that part of USAFI market need demolition to create space for a road around the market

The current owner of the market Umar Sekamatte saod that if KCCA wants the market he will let it go for good price

The owners of USAFI market claim to have invested 10 million dollars and reports show that they want 39 billion shillings if any one wants to buy this market.
