persons with disabilities want UNEB allow them with gadgets

People with disabilities are asking the Uganda national examinations board (UNEB) to allow them enter and sit for exams with their aid gadgets which facilitate their hearing, viewing among others.

The representatives of this special group are saying, failure for these special candidates to use aid gadgets while writing their exams greatly contribute to their failure which in the end affects their future.

The executive secretary national union of women with disabilities of Uganda (NUWODU) Jolly Aceng and the programme officer, Aidah Lukwago mention that able bodied candidates are always mixed and given the same privileges during national exams with the PWDs which activists say its unfair and needs to be revised.

NUWODU now wishes all PWDs success in the fourth coming national exams and encourages them to fully believe in themselves saying this will contribute to their good performance
