Ambassadors want ID registration law for ugandans living abroad

Uganda Ambassadors have asked the parliament of Uganda to permit the ministry of internal affairs to conduct the registration of Ugandans abroad for the National identity card.

All ambassadors representing Uganda in foreign missions abroad are back home to give feed back to government on the progress of their assignments abroad.

The Ambassador of Uganda to Canada Alintuma Nsambu is appealing to mps to allow the ministry of internal affairs through Uganda embassy’s abroad to allow the registration to be conducted at the Embassy’s because the National ID is going to become a compulsory requirement for Ugandans to get any service from government.
