Museveni grills local leaders in Mwenge South over misappropriated funds

President Museveni has publicly grilled local leaders of  Mwenge South constituency Kyenjojo district over claims that much of the Goverment Funding like that meant for Renovation of schools and youth livelihood fund have been stollen by officials. Mwenge South Constituency is represented by Minister Aston Kajara.
The President who was addressing his well attended campaign rally at Kyenjojo district headquarters had been given a file indicating that Five schools have been renovated and that several people have benefited from the youth livelihood fund yet this was not the case. It is here that the president called for the RDC  Apolo Bwambale and grilled him over failure to monitor government programmes though he explained that it is true some of the money for renovation for schools was stolen and some constructors are dubious. The president also grilled the councilor and the LC5 Chairman  Byamukama James after people at the rally reported to the president that the the youth funds and the medicines at he hospitals and health center 3 have been stolen.

In response the NRM candidate Yoweri Museveni, also the president of Uganda, has faulted the leaders, pledged to discipline them and assured the public that if voted into power the NRM government will continue funding its programmes for people to benefit and also arrest corrupt officials.
