Basil Ajar, battling court cases for the industrial parks land caused by double allocation of land to investors by the Uganda Lands Commission, development of Namanve Industrial park is behind schedule over inadequate funding for infrastructure development in this desired park, Director UIA in charge of small land Medium Enterprises Division, Electricity, Keneth Lubogo, roads and telecommunication facilities but it’s given only 5 billion shillings per financial year which cannot push the Authority fast so as it’s utilized to the maximum by the investors., told the Parliamentary Committee on Trade, Tourism and Industry chaired by the Bulamogi MP, Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), Uganda Investment Authority requires 500 billion shillings for Namanve Industrial park infrastructure development to provide water and sewerage, which investors are fighting each other in courts over land which was caused by the Uganda land commission when it gave the same piece of land to more than one investor

Chinese Ambassador to promote Ugandan tourism when he returns home after his tenure ends later this month, Chinese Government is supporting some of this infrastructure development as seen by the four major projects being undertaken, construction of the Isimba Dam, construction of the Kampala-Entebbe expressway, Kadaga made this call while bidding farewell to H.E. Zhao Yali who will be leaving Uganda after serving as the Chinese Ambassador for the past five years, Rebecca Kadaga, Speaker of Parliament, the Speaker expressed disappointment with the unfairness exhibited by the contractor where the agreement of having the project shared between Busoga and Buganda has not been followed., the upgrade of the Airport and the building of the two dams at Karuma and Isimba will make Uganda a good destination for tourism and investments
